Dawn Pemberton joins Tower of Song for a creative tribute to the music and poetry of legendary Canadian songwriter Leonard Cohen. Featuring BC singer-songwriters Oliver Swain and Glenna Garramone, award-winning multi-instrumentalist Adrian Dolan, and special guests Dawn Pemberton and David Beckingham of Hey Ocean, this unique performance reimagines Cohen’s timeless songs through rich harmonies and inventive arrangements featuring piano, guitar, banjo, violin, viola, accordion, mandolin, and string bass. As Canada’s longest-running touring Leonard Cohen tribute, Tower of Song has performed more than 200 shows across the country, bringing both classic and lesser-known Cohen compositions to audiences in theatres and folk clubs. This special performance brings together five accomplished artists for an evening celebrating Cohen’s enduring songwriting legacy through fresh interpretations and a distinctly Canadian musical voice.
