Yes, it has been awhile…. a long while. Much has happened, a lot of it beautiful, bittersweet, affirming, hard, fun, hilarious, touching… Loved one’s passed away, gorgeous babies were born, music was made, truth was told, heartache, had some surprise surgery and some health things, got an amazing job directing two choirs, recorded part of my album, and the list goes on. Basically, LIFE happened. It’s so perfect in it’s imperfection. It’s never really just all good or all bad. It’s LIFE. I feel like I can’t separate beauty from the pain. There is goodness in the hard stuff. This week’s Sunday Slow Jam speaks to this.
