This year I had the rad privildge of perfoming at the VIJF and played some amazing stages with amazing musicians in front of thousands of vibrant and eager people! The music, the weather and the crowds were all perfection. It felt like heaven! Jazz Fest always feels like the Musicians’ Christmas. Everyone is busy playing tons of shows, you reconnect with your musical family, people are happy and hyper creative, the city is a buzz with great music, you meet fantastic new artists, you’re jamming, eating, and drinking too much….. Aahhhh, if only it could be like this all the time. Am I right? Here are a few snapshots from the VIJF.
