Louis Hayes’ musical career spans over four decades and has helped to shape the sound of jazz forever. His brand of drumming is driving, evocative and really swings. From a young age he has played with jazz greats such as Oscar Peterson, Horace Silver, Yusef Lateef and Cannonball Adderly. Since 1989 Louis Hayes has led the Cannonball Adderly Legacy Band honouring the man, his music and his vision.
