Building on the highly successful collaborative concerts of the Black Hen Music Series, producer/guitarist Steve Dawson will lead another musical tour de force displaying the depth of Vancouver’s roots scene. This year marks the 45th anniversary of one of the best concert recordings of the rock era, Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out! The Rolling Stones in Concert. Led by Dawson and the Black Hen House Band, the evening will feature this definitive album plus more Stones classics by special guests Barney Bentall, Dustin Bentall, Jim Byrnes (Friday only), Shawn Hall (The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer), Rich Hope, Craig Northey (The Odds), Dawn Pemberton (Friday only), Ndidi Onukwulu, Roxanne Potvin, Ralph Shaw, Shaun Verreault (Saturday only), Colleen Rennison (Saturday only) plus surprise guests.
