The Issue of Mr. O’Dell

April 15th, 2018|Articles, Inspiration Station, Inspiring Folks, News|

A few months ago I had the honour and privilege to work on the music for an amazing documentary called “The Issue of Mr. O’Dell” by film maker Rami Katz. The film is about Jack O’Dells work during the Civil Rights movement. Jack is a brilliant man who worked closely with Dr. Martin Luther King. He is a beautiful person with a sharp mind, unwavering faith, and extreme passion. He is a legend and an unbelievable resource of knowledge and power…he also is a resident of Vancouver. Jack’s story is powerful and relevant. I have watched this documentary many times and it still moves me, educates me and inspires me each time. The doc is currently being shown at festivals around North American and is winning awards! It will be shown as part of the DOXA Festival on May 5th and May 8th. I will be at the May 8th screening.

Please come and support Rami, Jack O’Dell and his life’s work.
